New Duke study have found surprising result. In experiment of Duke and Chinese bun (call bao), researcher find that unlike most cat, Duke take positively to eat bao.

Minion say, "It's an unprecendented result. We would never have come across this new discovery if an office visitor had not left some of the buns on the pantry counter. One of us saw the subject (Duke) approach the test substance (bao). Due to preconcieved notions of cats and baos, no steps were taken to protect the baos. It was only after some time that a portion of the substance was found missing and later attributted to the subject."

Incident launch study into relationship of Duke and bao, where Duke eat bao with relish, surprising researchers. However, Duke not like yam filling. It make him run away.

"The bun's yam filling also incited a surprising response from the subject, making him react violently, running away as if spooked by the substance. At the moment our research has not revealed the reason for this extreme reaction and more work has to be done to find out more."

Other day, @xtremefusion send email of some capture from DukeCam, where Duke yawn with mouth so wide, can almost see brain. Duke look fierce! Like cat of jungle!

If look carefully, can see Tiny Pink Hippo cower on Duke shoulder. You choose wrong day for scale Mt Duke, Hippo!

One of Duke friend of Facebook ask for Duke "mailing address". Duke not know what it is, then Minion tell him is for people send him things. Duke impressed that technology of email have improve so much that now people can send physical thing! These humans, they quite clever.

Anyway, Duke do indeed have new-fangled, high-tech mailing address so people can send physical attachment.

Other day, someone call Anita Kapoor come to office. Office Folk say she on TV. Duke not watch TV so he not know who.

Apparently, she come to office to do something call voice over. Is talk in microphone to make noise for video. Ah. Duke always hang out at sound engineer room, so know all about make sound for video. Duke keen to watch, but Anita say she say she allergic to cat, so Office Folk put Duke in FishTank Room. Is too bad, because Duke sure Anita make better sound if Duke work with sound engineer. Duke have special X-factor for make all things better all the time.

But immediately after work finish, Anita want to take picture with Duke! Ah yes, the ladies, they not able resist Duke charm despite allergy.

Duke sure that everybody know that minion usually leave DukeCam on during weekend for enthusiastic Dukaki to watch Duke. But Duke realise: DukeCam have drawback. What happen if Dukaki not have time to spend all day in front of computer to watch exciting vignettes of Duke's day? Like, "Duke drink water", or "Duke stretch", or "Duke check food bowl".

Duke not want Dukaki to feel torn between loyalty to Duke and other things that may not be as important, but still require Dukaki attention, such as feed baby or eat lunch. So Duke say to minion: "Minion! Set up clever thing so DukeCam can record images of Duke do interesting thing so Dukaki can check back later and feel happy!"

This morning, minion have bright idea. She make DukeCam post image to new blog (Duke Sightings) whenever detect motion on weekend and make it send out automated updates to Facebook and Twitter. But minion silly, she not know that Duke weekend is action-packed! DukeCam spam Twitter and Facebook, so Duke yell at her and she make it stop.

Mice is small furry rodent. From what Duke cousin say, is quite fun! They run around and make squeak-squeak noise. Long ago, during barbarous time, mice is main food group of cat, but now not so much because of technological advances in can opener. But Duke have many cousin who still hunt mice, but more for sport than food.

Men is people! Apparently have two species, those who like cat, and those who don't like cat. Duke feel sorry for latter, because they not know ecstatic joy of being subject to awesomeness of cat.

Sorry, you say there is book on Mice and Men? Is pity, Duke thought he can write book on subject. But maybe is better he spend time write other title, like "Canned Food vs Dry Food, The Endless Debate". Or "The Seven Principals of Pleasing Your Cat Because He is Awesome and Deserves It". Or "Meowing and Purring Workbook: Manipulating Your Human."
